The GCOM-1 connects via standard USB and will be seen by the PC as a Joystick.

To test the device type 'usb game controllers' into the windows search box and select the option 'set up usb game controllers'. you can see that the device operates similar to a joystick except that the x and y axis are operated by the four directional buttons instead of a stick.

If your game does not allow joystick input, then you can use the joy-to-key programming application which converts the input to keystrokes, and can do other clever stuff such as multiple key presses.
