HOTAS Joysticks Input Companion The Game Commander is an advanced button box style input device with an unique feature, the key caps are interchangeable, and with a range of key cap sets available from GCOM the Game Commander can be put to use with all of your favourite PC games. Designed to withstand abuse, even in the toughest gaming situations the unit itself was designed like a piece of military hardware. The casing is heavy duty steel plate which is powder coated black. The heavy duty interchangeable key caps are injection moulded from translucent ABS plastic and backlit in a choice of coloured LED's. Game Commander comes supplied with a removable heavy duty USB type B cable. Although supplied with a generic set of translucent key caps, additional key caps are available in a range of themes offering almost unlimited customizations, so it is perfect for modders. The Game Commander features Cherry MX clone mechanical keyboard switches as used by Razer, and our own military/aerospace style key caps. Game Commander works with Windows PC and functions as a joystick with 30 buttons which works right out of the box for 95% of games, for the small number of games that insist on keyboard inputs you can use the joy-to-key programming utility. The GCOM-1 Space Sim Edition features a cool sci-fi cover decal and a set of 46 buttons inspired by your favourite space combat and trading games. Additional key caps are available to buy, both printed and un-printed as well as a range of vinyl decals. Note: The keys that come with this are the same as the Space Sim Set 1 so don't buy that set as an extra. This keypad is awesome when used in conjunction with a joystick and throttle (HOTAS)  setup or can be used alongside keyboard and mouse. You can organise the keys to suit your play style and with the detailed printed icons you will never forget what button does what or stumble for the right action in the heat of battle. The Game Commander Military Edition is designed for FPS and war games, so we built it like a piece of military hardware, the entire case is plate steel and the key caps are heavy duty ABS plastic, just like actual military spec keypads. This awesome keypad is perfect for replacing the keyboard, the printed icons on the key caps mean that you never need struggle to remember what key does what. And with the buttons being 25% larger than a standard typists keyboard you will always hit the right button.  Printed onto High impact ABS key caps are a carbon fibre design with clear backlit icons.
